Concierge only

We are running requests here by hand while the local provider network is still small. Expect a conversation with us before your request goes out.

Mountain roads here are decided by weather, not maps. Svaneti and Tusheti routes close with snow or landslide, and only someone checking conditions daily gets you there and back.

Gergeti Trinity Church above Kazbegi, photographed with Mount Kazbek rising behind it.

What a local knowsKazbek is often clear at dawn and clouded by midday. A driver who watches the mountain daily times the trip for sunrise, then continues past the crowds to Juta or Sno for the actual walking.

What a local changes here

Mountain roads here are decided by weather, not maps. Svaneti and Tusheti routes close with snow or landslide, and only someone checking conditions daily gets you there and back.

What you cannot just book

A border-zone permit for Tusheti and parts of Khevsureti, since those valleys sit against the Russian border. Arranged in advance through a registered operator, not issued at the trailhead.

What people get wrong

Travellers rent a car for the Georgian Military Highway or Svaneti roads without confirming the Jvari Pass is open that day, then find it closed by weather with no signal to reroute.

When, and why it matters

The road into Tusheti opens only after snow clears and shuts again before the first heavy fall. The season isn't a preference here, it's whether the valley can be reached at all.
